Corvus Lore, the Bay Area hard rock band known for blending classic rock roots with emotionally charged songwriting, has released their newest single, “Feather Me Through.” The track is the first glimpse into their upcoming third studio album and marks a new era for the band with the addition of bassist Johaan “Red Cup” Hill.
Since forming in 2015, Corvus Lore has built a devoted following on the strength of their no-frills, high-impact approach to rock music. “Corvus Lore leaves the gimmicks and the glitz behind and consistently cranks out timeless hard rock classics. They’re the girl at the party with no makeup that you can’t take your eyes off of,” says Scott Itter of All Music Magazine and the Dr. Music Podcast.
The band’s latest single, Feather Me Through, is already resonating with radio and media nationwide. The PATH Radiopraised its emotional resonance, saying: “‘Feather Me Through’ doesn’t just sound good—it feels real, carrying the weight of personal loss with powerful honesty. Their songs are raw, melodic, and authentically human. That’s what makes them stand out—this is rock that actually means something.”
The track also received high marks from Rock 102.1 KFMA in Tucson, where Assistant Program Director Razor called it: “Familiar fire with a brand-new burn… ‘Feather Me Through’ grooves and growls!”
The release follows the band’s award-winning video Boxing Ballerina, which took Best Music Video at the 2022 Poppy Jasper International Film Festival. Their 2023 album Lucida, released through Valley of Fire Records, cemented their reputation as a must-watch act in the revival of meaningful, melodic rock.
“Listening to Corvus Lore is like finding a lost album from your favorite classic rock band. Their songs are muscular, melodic and nostalgic: the first time you hear one, and every time,” says Dennis Willis of Soundwaves and 107.7 The Bone.
With new material on the way and a growing list of national radio supporters, Corvus Lore is poised to take their gritty, heartfelt sound to an even wider audience.
